ANNOUNCING THE UPCOMING AVAILABILITY OF THE REVISED EDITION
GROWING PERENNIALS IN COLD CLIMATES
Growing Perennials in Cold Climates was first released in the fall of 1998 but it has been out of print for a couple of years. It was the first ever book of its kind that was written by northern authors for northern gardeners. We were most grateful for the fine reception that it received and many of you have been inquiring for some time about an updated edition. Since its initial publication, we have continued to trial new perennials and collect the data necessary to bring the book up-to-date. We are pleased to announce that the University of Minnesota Press will release a revised and updated edition in soft cover this coming spring. The input of another knowledgable northern horticulturist, Debbie Lonnee, has also been incorporated into this revised edition.
At this point, it looks like copies should be available around April 1. We will have books available both via mail order and on site at our nursery. Mike will, of course, be happy to sign your copy should you so desire. As we draw closer to that date, we will be in touch with additional details.
